PURPOSE: Approval of an Intergovernmental Services Agreement with North County Regional Fire Authority to provide Maintenance Services on Authority owned real property.
BACKGROUND: The North County Regional Fire Authority has requested Snohomish County Public Works Road Maintenance division to provide maintenance services such as stormwater & drainage maintenance, brush cutting, sweeping, snow removal, asphalt repair and crane services on Authority owned property. The County and the Authority agree that it is mutually beneficial for the County and the Authority to work together cooperatively. In addition to this Agreement with the Authority, the County currently has maintenance agreements with seventeen (17) cities and/or towns and one (1) public transportation benefit area and one (1) special purpose district in Snohomish County. This agreement is entered into under the regulatory authority of the Interlocal Cooperation Act, Chapter 39.34 RCW.
