PURPOSE: Emergency Appropriation of Fund Balance with Information Technology (IT) Fund 505
BACKGROUND: IT was appropriated $1 million on November 3, 2021, just days prior to the adoption of the 2022 Budget. Due to supply chain issues arising from the pandemic, the full extent of need for this appropriation was not known and could not have been determined prior to the adoption of the 2022 Budget. This appropriation will help IT maintain network availability and security of County information and data for the County’s remote workforce.
