EXECUTIVE RECOMMENDATION:  N/A

 

PURPOSE: to amend SCC 2.400, requiring individuals receiving housing services at county-owned hotels to participate in SUD treatment if they have a SUD.

 

BACKGROUND: The County is considering the purchase of hotels for bridge and permanent supportive housing.  This ordinance requires any service providers at the hotels use a program agreement or code of conduct that requires residents who have a substance use disorder and are receiving housing services to participate in treatment.
