PURPOSE: To accept and authorize the Property Officer to execute a donation agreement for acceptance of an 0.6 acre parcel of tidal land
BACKGROUND: Gregory Hummel and Larry Hester, as the heir at law of Katherine Hummel Hester, (the “Donors”) own real property located in Snohomish County consisting of approximately 0.6 acres of undeveloped land, identified by Assesor’s Parcel ID no. 270313-004-048-00 (the “Property”), with an assessed value of $3,600. The Property is located adjacent to a parcel owned by Snohomish County, identified by Assessors Parcel No. 270313-003-047-00, known as Tidelands #1 Park, which is substantially tidal in nature and has a narrow access to land on its southern end. The Property has beach access and would provide an additional land access way to Tideland #1 Park on its north end. The Department of Conservation and Natural Resources - Parks Division and the Department of Facilities and Fleet - Property Management Division recommend approval of this donation agreement.
