BACKGROUND: A competitive Bid was issued for the replacement of the existing video system, and related work to including upgrades to the video management system (VMS), video camera replacement, removal of coaxial cables used at existing camera locations, removal of analog video controls, removal of digital video encoders, installation of new fiber optic network, upgrading of the existing intercom system, and interfacing the new equipment with the existing locking control PLC system for the active Snohomish County Corrections facility
