PURPOSE: The purpose of this Agreement to support Snohomish County Health Department’s HRSA grant deliverables through August 31, 2024, the Contractor will work an estimated 600 hours during the contract term. This Agreement is the product of County RFP No. 23-070JM Consultant, HRSA RCORP Grant.
BACKGROUND: Snohomish County Health Department’s Prevention Services Division is in year four of a Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) Rural Communities Opioid Response Program (RCORP) Implementation grant. This funding supports prevention, treatment, and recovery activities for opioid use disorder in rural communities, which for Snohomish County is just two census tracts - one surrounding the town of Darrington and the other covering parts of Sky Valley. This grant was extended through 8/31/2024.
