Title

Motion 24-118, approving Amendment 1 to the Interlocal Agreement between Snohomish County and the city of Snohomish relating to Law Enforcement Services

body

DEPARTMENT:  Sheriff’s Office

ORIGINATOR:  Karla Beers

EXECUTIVE RECOMMENDATION:  Ken Klein 3/8/24

PURPOSE: Executive signature on Amendment 1 to the ILA for law enforcement services with the City of Snohomish

BACKGROUND: Snohomish County has provided law enforcement services for the City of Snohomish since 2012. The city wishes to substitute the Law Enforcement Secretary position with a Law Enforcement Technician to better suit their needs. This Amendment 1 to the contract updates the rate structure to reflect the change, resulting in a $2,000 per year cost reduction to the contract fees.
