EXECUTIVE RECOMMENDATION: Approved by Ken Klein 2/7/24
PURPOSE: To index, enhance, scan, and import historical images from 1860s to 1976 into the Landmark recording system for greater public access to these documents.
BACKGROUND: Currently real property records and other important recorded documents are available online from 1976 forward through the Landmark recording system. This professional services contract will scan, enhance, index and import all county recorded documents from the 1860s to 1976, thereby allowing residents, customers, and researches the ability to search for these records online - which has not been possible to date. This contract does not impact the general fund and will be paid by the Auditor’s O&M Fund 186 in its entirety.
