PURPOSE: To approve grant agreement with WSDA for Evergreen State Fairground
BACKGROUND: The Washington State Department of Agriculture awarded a grant to the County to undertake a capital improvement project to make health or safety improvements to agricultural fairgrounds or fair facilities to benefit participants and the fair-going public pursuant to RCW 15.76.165. Grant Agreement No. K5049 in the amount of $13,992.50, will be used to replace old chain link panels in the livestock area and add high arch gates.
