PURPOSE: To approve grant agreement with WSDA for Evergreen State Fairground
BACKGROUND: The Washington State Department of Agriculture awarded a grant to the County to undertake a capital improvement project to make health or safety improvements to agricultural fairgrounds or fair facilities to benefit participants and the fair-going public pursuant to RCW 15.76.165. Grant Agreement No. K5048 in the amount of $23,500, will be used for renovation of the sheep wash rack area, plumbing upgrades for goat and bovine wash racks, replacement of all door closers in the 604 event center, installation of two new glass ADA compliant entry doors, replacing old chain link panels in the livestock area, and adding high arch gates.
