PURPOSE: Align SCC 4.122.050 with RCW 82.14.540
BACKGROUND: In SB 5604 in the 2023 legislative session, RCW 82.15.540 was amended removing the population cap on jurisdictions allowed to use the Affordable and Supportive Housing Tax Credit for rental assistance. This ordinance revises SCC 4.122.050 to allow the tax to be used for any purposes authorized by State law, including rental assistance.
