BACKGROUND: Snohomish County is the representative member of the Snohomish County Urban County Consortium (Consortium) for purposes of application, receipt, and administration of federal grant funds under the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME), Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) Program.
On March 27, 2020, the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act made available $5 billion in supplemental Community Development Block Grant - Coronavirus funds (CDBG-CV) funds nationally. On December 5, 2022, the Policy Advisory Board (PAB) approved reallocating $1,920,428 in CDBG-CV1 & CV3 funds to public facility and Infrastructure projects through a Notice of Funding Opportunity, which was published on January 19, 2023.
