PURPOSE: The Washington State Administrative Office of the Courts is providing additional grant funding to District Court to support District Court’s Therapeutic Court, audio/visual upgrades, and interpreter and language access services.
BACKGROUND The District Court is receiving unanticipated additional grant funds from the Administrative Office of the Courts. As such, District Court is requesting a supplemental appropriation in General Fund 002, for the 2023 budget year, in the amount of $29,200, to provide expenditure authority to fund other services for District Court’s Therapeutic Court, audio/visual upgrades, and interpreter and language access services.
