PURPOSE: Authorize an additional 0.5 FTE for a Communications Manager II
BACKGROUND: The 2023 Adopted Budget included 0.5 FTE for a Communications FTE. The Budget also included a Budget Note for Council to assemble a workgroup to develop the position description for the new FTE. The workgroup met and determined that the scope of work and job duties warranted a full time FTE. In order to recruit and hire a 1.0 FTE in 2023, Council needs to add 0.5 FTE to the position COU7651R. Council adopted budget has sufficient funding for a full time 1.0 FTE.
