PURPOSE: To obtain Council’s approval and the Executive’s signature of a Fire Systems Inspection and Maintenance contract with Smith Fire Systems, Inc.
BACKGROUND: Smith Fire Systems, Inc was chosen as the best qualified contractor to provide fire systems inspection maintenance services to the County through Request for Proposal 22-020TB. The maximum contract amount is $567,374 and the initial term is until December 31, 2025. The contract can be extended for two additional one year terms, upon mutual agreement between the County and the Contractor, provided that the County’s obligations after December 31, 2024 are contingent upon local legislative appropriation of necessary funds for this specific purpose.
