PURPOSE: Approve execution of consultant contract with Forterra NW
BACKGROUND: In 2022 Snohomish Council approved $4 million dollars in support of establishment of a Snohomish County Land Conservation Initiative (LCI). The LCI is comprised of three primary elements: enhancement of the Transfer of Development Rights program, a Healthy Forest Project and development of a strategic plan to guide long range property acquisitions and management. An RFP (22-14SB) was issued to select a consultant to help develop the strategic plan and Forterra NW was selected to complete the work.
