EXECUTIVE RECOMMENDATION: Approved by Ken Klein 4/24/23
PURPOSE: : Approving Grant Agreement for Second Chance Outreach and Participatory Justice to ensure that they continue to work with individuals affected by social injustice in the Snohomish County area.
BACKGROUND: Snohomish County Council approved adopted Ordinance 22-001 on February 23, 2022; making supplemental appropriation the General Fund for Council projects. This funding was reappropriated in the 2023 Adopted Budget. Funding provided from the County to the Second Chance Outreach to sponsor Participatory Justice will be in the amount of $100,000 subject to the terms of the agreement.
