PURPOSE: The purpose of this ECAF is to approve and execute the Agreement for Professional Services with Pagefreezer Software Inc to provide social media and internet/website archiving services.
BACKGROUND: The County currently receives social media archiving services from ArchiveSocial, and Internet/website archiving services from Pagefreezer Software Inc. and desires to streamline services by having one vendor provide both services. The County published RFP-22-060BC to obtain proposals for social media archiving services with a public interface tool and internet/website archiving services to harvest, build, and preserve collections of digital content from various County websites. Pagefreezer Software Inc was selected by the County evaluation committee as submitting the highest ranking proposal to provide the services. Approval of this Agreement will allow Pagefreezer Software Inc to provide social media and Internet/website archiving services from Pagefreezer Software Inc. beginning upon contract execution through August 31, 2025 with two optional two-year extensions upon written notice from the County. Expedited handling is requested in order to provide the vendor and County enough time to migrate the existing ArchiveSocial data to the County before the June 30, 2023 expiration date.
