PURPOSE: To revise references within Snohomish County Code relating to a County Health Department, repealing certain sections regarding the Public Health Advisory Board and adding a section regarding staffing of the Board of Health.
BACKGROUND: The County Council approved Ordinance 22-062 relating to a County Health Department on October 26, 2022. Further revisions are necessary to ensure compliance with RCW 70.05.060 and be in alignment with operating practices.
