PURPOSE: Approve the Washington State Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA) County Services Agreement amendment

BACKGROUND: The Washington State Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA) County Services Agreement funds the County’s community services for children’s early intervention, adult employment, and community support services for individuals with developmental disabilities living in Snohomish County.  Funds will be subcontracted to agencies targeting beneficial community outcomes, serving an estimated 3,000 adults and children with developmental disabilities. 

Contract 2163-24072 was for the period 7/1/2021 through 6/30/2022 in the amount of $9,517,600. The contract was continued in amendment 2163-24072-01 with a new award of $9,479,296 for the period 7/1/2022 to 6/30/2023.  The new contract amendment 2163-24072-02 increases the award total to $11,054,365 for the period 1/1/2023 to 6/30/2023  These funds are exceeding the Snohomish County Human Services grant work plan amount and are funded through the Department of Social and Health Services/ DDA.
