PURPOSE: Motion confirming the re-appointment Marine Resources Advisory Committee Member to serve their second 3-year term. Snohomish County citizen recommended for re-appointment is Mr. Tim Ellis who resides in District #2 and serves as position #2 on the Snohomish County MRC.
BACKGROUND: The Snohomish County Marine Resources Advisory Committee (MRC) is authorized by Snohomish County Code Chapter 2.800.020 to advise the County Council and Executive on marine issues. The thirteen-member committee represents diverse interests including local governments, tribes, economic, environmental and conservation interests. Mr. Tim Ellis resides in District #2 and serves as position #2 on the Snohomish County MRC.
