PURPOSE: To provide attorney representation for Minor guardianship cases.
BACKGROUND: Pursuant to RCW 11.130, the law requires courts to provide assigned counsel for children and guardians in guardianship cases. Snohomish county Superior Court has asked OPD to administer these contracts to assure effective appointment and representation of those lawfully entitled to counsel.
