EXECUTIVE RECOMMENDATION: N/A
PURPOSE: Updates the code requirement that the Sheriff’s office provides facility security for all courthouse facilities, not just those at the county campus or the Denney Juvenile Justice Center.
BACKGROUND: Code currently specifies that security services be provided at the primary county campus and Denney Juvenile Justice Center. There is a desire to update code to include all courthouse facilities, including the district court locations. The existing security rate model directly allocates the cost of three (3) marshals to the District Court.
