PURPOSE: Approving agreement with the Port of Everett for COVID-19 related revenue replacement.

 

BACKGROUND: Snohomish County has secured Coronavirus Local Fiscal Recovery (CLFR) grant funds under the federal American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) to facilitate the distribution of the ARPA funds the Executive Office of Snohomish County created the Office of Recovery and Resilience (ORR). In compliance with the ARPA rules ORR has issued an interlocal agreement for the Port of Everett to fulfill their public purpose. It will be in the amount of $1,000,000 subject to the terms of the agreement.
