PURPOSE: Approve Interlocal Agreement to provide funding to the City of Everett for improvements to Hannabrook Park
BACKGROUND: Snohomish County Council approved Amended Ordinance 22-056 on November 9, 2022, to adopt the 2023-2028 Capital Improvement Program (CIP), which included funding for the City of Everett’s Hannabrook Park Improvements project. This project is planned to create a Nature Fitness Trail as described in Attachment A to the agreement. The City has provided a written request to receive the funds and has agreed to the terms of the Interlocal Agreement. Funding for 2023 provided from the County to the City will be in the amount of $80,000 and ILA agreement will expire December 31, 2023.
