PURPOSE: Council’s approval to name 3 recently acquired buildings by the County in Dec 2022/Jan 2023
BACKGROUND: The County recently bought 2 properties to use as homeless shelters (after remodel and remediation) in the cities of Everett and Edmonds. The Executive is recommending to name these properties “Snohomish County New Start Center - Everett” and “Snohomish County New Start Center - Edmonds” The Snohomish Health District joins the County as a department and takes possession of its building at 3020 Rucker Avenue in Everett on Jan 1, 2023. The Executive recommends making this property known as the Snohomish County Rucker Building”.
