PURPOSE: The Legislature enacted RCW 84.34 to maintain, preserve, conserve and protect lands for the social wellbeing of the state and its citizens and has further declared, “that assessment practices must be so designed as to permit the continued availability of open space lands for these purposes.”

BACKGROUND: Owner requests reclassification from Open Space Ag to Open Space Ag Conservation for 17.88 acres of 18.88 acres, reserving 1.00 acre for homesite. The property is located at 27002 56^th AVE NW, Stanwood, WA  98292.
