PURPOSE: Authorizing the County Executive to sign Amendment No. 1 to the 2022 Collective Bargaining Agreement between Snohomish County and the Washington State Council of County and City Employees, AFSCME, AFL - CIO, Local 1811 - PA.
BACKGROUND: This will amend the 2022 collective bargaining agreement with the Prosecutor’s Criminal and Family Support Deputy Unit. Amendment No. 1 to this agreement allows continuous service for vacation accrual to include any time as Deputy Prosecutor at another jurisdiction within Washington state as long as the time was continuous time. The amendment will help in attracting qualified and experienced Deputy Prosecuting Attorneys to work at Snohomish County. This amended agreement covers approximately 65 employees.
