PURPOSE: : Approving Grant Agreement for Snohomish County PUD, No. 1 to pay for the development and building of a Microgrid Display to teach the community about renewal energy.
BACKGROUND: Snohomish County Council approved adopted Ordinance 22-001 on February 23, 2022; making supplemental appropriation the General Fund 002 to provide expenditure authority for unanticipated funds the 2022 budget. Funding provided from the County to the Snohomish County PUD No. 1 will be in the amount of $75,000.00 subject to the terms of the agreement.
