PURPOSE: To provide authorization to the Chair to certify the 2023 tax levy estimates
BACKGROUND: RCW 84.52.070 requires County Council certify the levies of the County and its Junior Taxing Districts, prior to the first Monday in December. This motion authorizes the Chair to sign the levy certification that will be complete after certifications from Junior Taxing Districts are received.
