EXECUTIVE RECOMMENDATION: Approved by Ken Klein 10/28/22
PURPOSE: Council approval of Amendment 15 for additional services under the Technical Services Agreement with Siemens Industry, Inc.
BACKGROUND: The County and Siemens entered into a Technical Services Agreement, on January 1, 2018 to upgrade and standardize the County’s card access system in various County facilities with the Siemens SiPass Access Control System. This request is for additional work needed under this Agreement. Amendment 15 is for the installation of SiPass Access Control Expansion at the Snohomish County Courthouse. Funding was approved for this project in the 2021 budget. Facilities Management requests the Snohomish County Council to approve and authorize the Snohomish County Executive, or designee, to sign the attached Amendment 15 to the Technical Services Agreement with Siemens.
