PURPOSE: To increase the amount of Planning and Development Services’ on-call consultant contract to enable the Parks division of the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources to proceed with an amendment to the BERK Consulting SEPA contract this year (2022) that will allow Parks to meet County goals as related to upcoming projects. Amendments to the 2019-2022 On-Call Consultant Services Master Agreements for the Planning and Development Services Discipline for an increase in the umbrella amount of $350,000, increasing the previously approved not to exceed umbrella amount to $1,400,000.
BACKGROUND: The current 2019-2022 On-Call Consultant Master Agreements are set to expire on December 31, 2023, with no new projects scheduled after December 31, 2022. Additional contracting capacity is requested and agreed to by each participating consultant in the present on-call consultant services program.
