PURPOSE: To provide mandated legal defense services in cases that are a conflict of interest to the County’s main contractor, the Public Defender Association (PDA) for the period from January 1, 2022 to December 31, 2022, with a potential for two (2) additional one (1) year extensions.
BACKGROUND: This contract covers cases that are a conflict of interest for PDA. The case types covered under this contract include: Misdemeanors, Felonies, Expedited Felonies, Juvenile Criminal Charges, and Miscellaneous Superior Court cases types. The contractor accepts case types as designated on his or her contract, based upon the attorney’s qualifications for that particular case type.
