PURPOSE: To adopt, as proposed, the success metrics related to law and justice backlog.

BACKGROUND: Council adopted 2022 Budget included a budget note requesting the Superior Court, District Court, the Office of Public Defense and the Prosecutive Attorney present, for Council approval, proposed success metrics that will, over time, measure the departments/courts progress at reducing the law and justice backlog.  The departments/courts submitted a memo to council on March 30, 2022 and participated in a committee discussion at LJHS Committee on June 13^th.  Council directed staff to draft a memo adopting the proposed success metrics.
