PURPOSE: The Salary Schedule for elected officials, adopted by the Citizens’ Commission on Salaries of Elected Officials, is to be filed with the County Council and Auditor, per SCC 2.105.060.
BACKGROUND: The 2022 Citizens’ Commission on Salaries of Elected Officials has included an Addendum for the County Council and community of Snohomish County to help with understanding the conclusion and decisions that the Commission arrived at to create the 2023-2024 Salary Schedule. The Snohomish County Citizens’ Commission on Salaries for Elected Officials is an independent county commission, assigned to fix the salaries of the county council, executive, assessor, auditor, clerk, prosecuting attorney, sheriff, and treasurer in accordance with SCC 2.105, the county charter, and state law.
