PURPOSE: The purpose of this agreement with GeoEngineers, Inc. is to assist on the Building C-1(Precision/ATS) Site Remedial Investigation Planning & Implementation.
BACKGROUND: .
> The Airport requests authority to utilize the Snohomish County Public Works On-Call Contract for environmental consulting services.
> GeoEngineers, Inc. ("GeoEngineers") of Seattle was selected to provide environmental consulting services pursuant to the Snohomish County Public Works On-Call Contract Agreement No. OCC19/1-7.8(Y).
> GeoEngineers will continue to provide environmental consulting services on the former Precision/ATS lease area.
> Precision and ATS vacated the property and left an undetermined amount contamination that needs further delineation.
> GeoEngineers will assist the Airport on the remedial investigation planning and implementation.
> The value of the contract is NTE $195,000 and is funded by an Ecology Integrated Planning Grant.
> Public Works has reviewed the contract and has stated that it is contract compliant.
