PURPOSE: The objective is to complete additional site investigation to address existing data gaps that are critical for completion of a MTCA-compliant Remedial Investigation for the site.
BACKGROUND: .
Ø The Airport was approached by the Department of Ecology that funding was available to support continued environmental work at the C-1 Hangar & Building (Former Precision and ATS lease area).
Ø Per Ecology’s request, the Airport completed a Grant Inquiry Form for the site.
Ø Airport and Ecology have negotiated the terms of the agreement.
Ø The value of the grant is NTE $200,000 and work must be performed by June 30, 2023.
