EXECUTIVE RECOMMENDATION: n/a
PURPOSE: Consolidate Snohomish County Council standing committees onto Monday’s.
BACKGROUND: Currently, Standing Committees are split between alternating weeks on Monday’s and Tuesdays. The proposed ordinance would move all standing committees to Monday’s, but maintain the alternating weeks. If approved: first and third Monday - Public Works at 11:00 a.m. and Finance at 1:30 p.m. and second and fourth Monday - Conservation, Sustainability, and Recreation at 11:00 a.m., Law and Justice/Human Services at 1:30 p.m., and Planning at Community Development at 2:30 p.m. Additionally, the intent would be to move the Administrative Session start time from 10:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on Monday’s. The time for Administrative Session is not codified and therefore no amendment is needed to make this change.
