PURPOSE: To obtain approval of the 1st amendment to a 2020 contract for legal services with the Bundy Law Group for the civil litigation of the Aradon matter.
BACKGROUND: The Prosecuting Attorney’s Office entered into a Contract for Legal Services on 8/7/2020, with the Bundy Law Group for litigation services involving the Aradon matter. The original contract limited authorized expenditures to $50,000. As the PAO continues to litigate the case for the foreseeable future and current expenditures are nearing the $50,000 limit, it seeks to amend the original contract by increasing the limit on authorized expenditures to $100,000.
