PURPOSE: Motion confirming the appointment of new Marine Resources Advisory Committee Member to serve their first three-year term. Snohomish County citizen recommended for appointment is Robert (Bob) Margulis from Council District #3.
BACKGROUND: The Snohomish County Marine Resources Advisory Committee (MRC) is authorized by Snohomish County Code Chapter 2.800.020 to advise the County Council and Executive on marine issues. The thirteen-member committee represents diverse interests including local governments, tribes, economic, environmental and conservation interests. Mr. Robert (Bob) Margulis resides in Council District #3 and will represent environmental interests.
