PURPOSE: Approval to contract with RH2 Engineering, Inc. to provide on-call sanitary sewer engineering services to Snohomish County Airport.
BACKGROUND: .
> The Airport evaluated proposals for RFQ 004-21BC and selected RH2 Engineering, Inc. as best qualified to meet on-call sewer engineering services.
> The Airport is requesting Council approval to contract with RH2 Engineering, Inc. for on-call sewer engineering services.
> The Scope of Work includes preparing and updating a Sanitary Sewer Utility Plan, investigating and recommending improvements to mitigate Infiltration & Inflow (I&I), design and construction contract administration of future sewer improvements including SCADA upgrades to existing sewer lift stations, consulting regarding the interface with Mukilteo Water and Wastewater, assist with the development of a GIS data base to be used for the implementation of Cartegraph software and other on-call sewer engineering services.
> This contract is for $500,000.
> The contract term will be effective upon the date of contract execution for two (2) years with the option to renew for three (3) additional one (1) year terms.
> All task assignments are contingent upon the availability of funds in the Airport Enterprise Fund.
