PURPOSE: To confirm the reappointment of Courtney Wooten to the Human Rights Commission.

 

BACKGROUND: 1) Snohomish County Amended Ordinance 16-034 reenacting and amending SCC 2.460 pertaining to the Snohomish County Human Rights Commission.  2) The Commission serves in an advisory capacity to the County Executive, County Council and other county officers in matters concerning human rights.  3) After consulting with the county council as required by code, the executive recommends the re-appointment of Courtney Wooten for the position representing Member at Large - Position 1.  4) Terms of service is for the termed position in July 2021.  5) The term will expire July 1, 2024.
