PURPOSE: To approve plan and expenditure of Social Justice funding in Nondepartmental
BACKGROUND: Funding was allocated in the 2021 Adopted Budget for Social Justice Initiatives. The budget ordinance included two budget conditions ( 5 and 7) related to the funding. This motion and attached expenditure plan request approval to utilize these funds to support local efforts resettling Afghan refugees arriving in Snohomish County.
