PURPOSE: An ordinance authorizing an increase of 2.5 percent in the 2022 general property tax levy.
BACKGROUND: This Ordinance authorizes an increase of 2.5 percent to the general levy amount for Snohomish County General Property Tax as authorized per RCW 84.55.0101. The Ordinance allows for Council consideration of a property tax increase up to the maximum lawful amount.
