PURPOSE: Council to approve the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program - American Rescue Plan (LIHEAP-ARP) - Weatherization Assistance Program Contract F21-5310C-422
BACKGROUND: The 2021 LIHEAP-ARP Grant provides funding for weatherization services. The outcome of this program is to improve the energy efficiency and health & safety of dwellings owned or occupied by eligible low-income persons/participants. Contract is for the period of July 1, 2021 through September 30, 2022 and provides $836,418 in weatherization and repair funding.
