body

DEPARTMENT:  Finance

ORIGINATOR:  Vanessa de Salome`

EXECUTIVE RECOMMENDATION:  Approved by Ken Klein

PURPOSE: Amend Amended Ordinance 20-075; increasing the aggregate maximum number of additional 2021 county FTEs from 25 to 70

BACKGROUND: The County will soon reach the maximum number of additional 2021 full-time-equivalent (FTE) employees that have been authorized by the County Council pursuant to Section 7 of Amended Ordinance No. 20-075. There is a need to increase the aggregate maximum number of additional 2021 county FTEs from 25 to 70 in Amended Ordinance 20-075. A subsequent Motion will authorize specific FTEs as this action seeks to only increase the allowable maximum from 25 to 70 FTEs.
