PURPOSE: To recommend the reappointment of Carolyn Hetherwick Goza to the Chemical Dependency and Mental Health Program Advisory Board.

 

BACKGROUND:
*
                     The Chemical Dependency and Mental Health Program Advisory Board (CDMH Board) currently has nine vacancies. 
*
                     The Chemical Dependency and Mental Health Program Advisory Board voted unanimously to recommend this individual for reappointment at their February 17, 2021 board meeting. 
*
                     Carolyn Hetherwick Goza was serving as a Snohomish County representative on the North Sound Behavioral Health Organization Advisory Board but was unable to continue in that position. She also provides NAMI Basics training in Snohomish County and serves as an advocate to families. She is recommended to fill an at-large position the Board has previously recommended be filled by a Consumer and/or Family Advocate.

                     This would be her 3rd term, which will expire on 2/28/2023.
