PURPOSE: Approve Interlocal Agreement to provide funding to the City of Mukilteo for improvements to the 76th Street bike and pedestrian paths.

 

BACKGROUND: Snohomish County Council approved Amended Ordinance 20-071 on November 10, 2020 to adopt the 2021 - 2026 Capital Improvement Program (CIP), which included funding for the City of Mukilteo’s 76th Street bike and pedestrian paths improvements project.  This project is planned to construct missing segments of the sidewalk on 76th Street between Olympic View Middle School and 44th Ave. West. The City has provided a written request to receive the funds and has agreed to the terms of the Interlocal Agreement.  Funding provided from the County to the City will be in the amount of $40,000 subject to the terms of the agreement.
