PURPOSE: Approve Interlocal Agreement to provide funding to the City of Mukilteo for improvements to the 76^th Street bike and pedestrian paths.

BACKGROUND: Snohomish County Council approved Amended Ordinance 20-071 on November 10, 2020 to adopt the 2021 - 2026 Capital Improvement Program (CIP), which included funding for the City of Mukilteo’s 76^th Street bike and pedestrian paths improvements project.  This project is planned to construct missing segments of the sidewalk on 76^th Street between Olympic View Middle School and 44^th Ave. West. The City has provided a written request to receive the funds and has agreed to the terms of the Interlocal Agreement.  Funding provided from the County to the City will be in the amount of $40,000 subject to the terms of the agreement.
