PURPOSE: Approve Interlocal Agreement to provide funding to the City of Stanwood to study SR 532 roundabout and bypass options at Old Pacific Hwy/102nd Ave. in Stanwood, WA

 

BACKGROUND: Snohomish County Council approved Amended Ordinance 20-071 on November 10, 2020 to adopt the 2021 - 2026 Capital Improvement Program (CIP), which included funding for the City of Stanwood’s feasibility study for Old Pacific Hwy/102nd Ave. SR 532 roundabout and bypass project.  This project is planned to evaluate options to address traffic issues at this location.  The City has provided a written request to receive the funds and has agreed to the terms of the Interlocal Agreement.  Funding provided from the County to the City will be in the amount of $25,000 subject to the terms of the agreement.
