PURPOSE: The purpose of this agreement with Landau Associates, Inc. is to assist on the Former Tect Site - Remedial Investigation Planning & Implementation.
BACKGROUND: .
> The Airport requests authority from County Council to utilize the Snohomish County Public Works On-Call Contract for environmental consulting services.
> Landau Associates, Inc. ("Landau") was selected to provide environmental consulting services pursuant to the Snohomish County Public Works On-Call Contract Agreement No. OCC19/1-7.8(AP).
> Landau previously provided environmental consulting services on the former Tect lease area.
> This site has significant solvent and hydrocarbon contamination from past tenants.
> Landau will assist the Airport on the remedial investigation planning and implementation.
> The value of the contract is NTE $54,000 and may be funded by a potential grant from the Department of Ecology. If not, this project is in the Airport's 2021 budget.
> Public Works has reviewed the contract and has stated that it is contract compliant.

DEPARTMENT FISCAL IMPACT NOTES: There is sufficient funding in the 2021 Airport Budget. In addition, a grant from the Department of Ecology will potentially reimburse the Airport for these funds.
